1. Mooring and located the dredger ship.
The dredger ship has 2 piles at end of ship, it to be lift up before moving the ship to next location of dredging then these 2 piles driving into bedding and located the ship.
At the head of dredger ship has 2 anchors, mooring these anchors as same as the head of ship, this location usually moves as schedule of dredging to ensure the requirements as below:
- These anchors must push-into soil bedding to avoid any movement, grabbing or vibration.
- The location of anchors must be ensured that the cable of anchors direction and perpendicular direction not access 15o.
The mooring under water to be anchored by tugboat. After fixing the anchored checking the tension of cable whether it has to fix into bedding.
Method statement to mooring anchor:
- Preparation anchor and cable of winch connecting buoy’s chain by shackles, hook cable to tugboat.
- The winch is always in free condition; the tugboat moves to mooring location.
- The operator of dredger ship to move at the mooring location and order tugboat bring anchor to mooring at determined location to check the cable must be extended to fix anchors into seabed, sea river bedding
2. Dredging by ship:
- Lower the trimmer boom down to natural soil bedding and open the suction pump. The contractor is applying the water measure meter of the suction ship to determine the depth of trimmer boom. When trimmer boom dips down to trimmer soil and moves along the route of dredging.
- The dredger ship moves along transverse on dredging area located by benchmark on buoys.
- During dredging construction correspond the thickness of trimming layer, category of soil structure, so the operator must be adjusting the depth of trimmer, the falling angle of trimmer, of grab to suitable the mud layer in the most effective for each time dredging.
- The project has the stock yard to store soil within 2 km, maybe stock yard store soil and suction pump out directly to stock yard.
3. Inspection:
- Measure Data input to computer includes co-ordinate, depth of dredger area complies with to make the contour line level as result of dredged area. Based on this result to decide to dredge in during construction.
- After completing the dredging for each area, the contractor measures by pole to check dredging level, the Client and consultant to inspection dredging level by return sonic tool.
